Go West!

Montag, 20. 01. 2003

At the SPIE Photonics West 2003, you’ll be able to see the prototypes of the new family of CCD & CMOS camera systems – pco.camera. These cameras represent a major change of the camera – PC – system structure, since the new cameras will have image memory (camRAM) in the camera, allowing the highest possible image rate with a direct transfer of image data into the storage memory (160MB/s for CCD & 1GB/s for CMOS), the up to 2 GB large camRAM.pco.camera features: utilizable 14bit dynamic range – extremely high resolution of 4032 x 2688 pixel (11Mpixel, pco.4000) – cooled image sensors – multiple trigger capabilities – standard interfaces (IEEE 1394, camera link, USB2.0, ethernet)pco.1200 hs (CMOS) features: 680 fps at full resolution (1360 fps at VGA resolution) – high resolution (1280 x 1024 pixel) – utilizable 10bit dynamic range - multiple trigger capabilities – standard interfaces (IEEE 1394, camera link, USB2.0, ethernet)More technical details will be given by Mr. Murad Kamali, sales manager, in a presentation with the title: “Novel Design Approach to a High Performance/High Speed Digital Camera”. It will be given on Thursday, January 30, 12:00 p.m., at the San Jose Convention Center, Hall 3.
