CrossControl is a software kit for controlling pco camera systems and acquiring data from various high-level data evaluation languages over a computer network. Its purpose is to help building abstract and easily programmable IDL and Matlab interfaces for engineers and physicists and hiding the programming and control details of the hardware at a C server program level. The package is available for Linux and Windows systems.
A modular general purpose imaging software running natively on MacOS X. Exbem processes and analyzes images and particularly image sequences delivered by video devices or recorded movies. Already the basic package of Exbem provides a powerful still affordable framework for driving digital cameras. Image frames can be captured manually or automatically in time-lapse mode. They can be corrected and processed online in different ways and recorded into a QuickTime movie with up to 48 bit per pixel compressed or non compressed. An optionally available sequence recorder allows for recording at high frames rates. Recorded movies can then be processed offline. Additional modules can be acquired to serve specific applications.
ImageJ is a public domain Java image processing program inspired by NIH Image for the Macintosh. It runs, either as an online applet or as a downloadable application, on any computer with a Java 1.1 or later virtual machine. Downloadable distributions are available for Windows, Mac OS, Mac OS X and Linux (plugin for sensicam long exposure available).
The MetaMorph® Imaging System is a powerful and affordable integration of software and hardware that enables scientific researchers to automatically capture and analyze microscopy or macro images from scientific grade digital and video CCD cameras.
pco.camera drivers are available through our sales department and suitable for the above mentioned software of Universal Image CorporationTM.
μManager is an Open Source software package for imaging and control of automated
microscopes on multiple platforms (Windows, Mac and Linux). Together with ImageJ, a popular image processing package, μManager provides a comprehensive imaging solution – comparable to commercially available ones. μManager software, including
device drivers, is free. Versions 1.2 and 1.3-beta are available for download.
A short introduction how pco cameras can be used with the µManager software can be downloaded here.
For life science researchers who need to automate acquisition, analysis, and storage for live cell imaging. Unlike other general imaging applications, QED Imaging products are dedicated to image acquisition and analysis for live cell research.
The newly redesigned SlideBook™ application comes complete with all of the necessary tools for imaging application ranging from simple 2-D and time-lapse imaging to multi-channel 3-D, multi-point, and 4-D imaging
Software, which grabs live uncompressed or compressed video directly from IEEE fire wire, analog, high speed or high resolution digital cameras to hard disk drive or RAM memory. It has a GUI with video like recorder toolbar and is capable of exporting sequence files to tiff, bmp, jpeg, avi and many more image formats.
VidPIV is a unique and powerful software for PIV, LIF, particle sizing,
spray patterantion and more generally for image based and point measurement techniques. It incorporates every aspect of the PIV measurement process: hardware control, image acquisition and storage (up to 4 cameras), on-line analysis, off-line and batch analysis and visualization are all integrated within a unified enviroment. A wide range of file types is supported both for import and export: TIF, GIF, JPG, BMP, PCX and camware taken B16 images.
VisiView® is a high performance imaging software from Visitron Systems GmbH for BioImaging applications. It is specially designed to meet the needs for high-speed image acquisition and processing with ease of use. The software controls complex automated microscopes and microscope equipment in combination with multidimensional acquisition and analysis. The multitasking operation supports simultaneous image acquisition and analysis. The VisiView® software supports the PCO series sensicam, pco.camera and the new pco.edge (sCMOS camera). www.visitron.de
